We have listed some of the areas we cover below, please get in touch if you have any questions.

Risk Assessment Training
It is a legal requirement for all workplace tasks to be risk assessed in Ireland. The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 obliges every employer to identify the hazards in the workplace under his/her control, assess the risks of those hazards and possess a written risk assessment.
Risk assessment training ensures that clients are competent in carrying out and reviewing risk assessments.

COSHH Awareness Training
There is a legal obligation on employers on the storage, handling and use of any substances that may be on their premises. The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations requires employers to ensure that Safety Data Sheets are available for all substances on their premises and that COSHH assessments are carried out for all tasks that use these substances. Compliance with COSHH also requires suitable and sufficient storage of substances. COSHH Awareness Training is available to clients to ensure they are compliant with COSHH.

Manual Handling Training
Employees who are required to carry out manual handling tasks should be given adequate training to ensure they are competent to perform these tasks. Manual Handling Training is available to clients who wish to ensure their employees are trained in good manual handling, so as to prevent injuries. In Ireland, the Guidance on the Management of Manual Handling in the Workplace outlines key sections of the manual handling of loads regulation and the related schedule. The guidance is designed to create better understanding of risk factors associated with manual handling.

Audit Training
Employers have a legal obligation to supervise, monitor and review audits of the workplace, and of employees behaviour. Clients may wish to have training in auditing and audit techniques to better equip them with the necessary tools to become competent auditors, as well as improving corrective action techniques and tracking. Training is carried out by an experienced ISO accredited auditor.
